Ashley brings over 40 years’ of experience working in electronics, telecommunications and electrical industries to his role as Principal Electrical Engineer.
His career started as an electronic circuit designer, including custom integrated circuit design. After a period of technical project management and technical sales Ashley moved into account director roles for major international corporate clients.
More recently Ashley has been running his own successful electrical contracting business, adopting a hands-on approach to deliver practical solutions for a range of domestic and light commercial clients. Working with a major private medical NHS service provider, Ashley helped pioneer mobile hybrid power solutions combining high availability with low operating costs and energy efficiency.
Now part of CBG’s Electrical Team, Ashley interfaces directly with client teams, developing designs and performance specifications across a range of projects for public and private sector clients. His broad experience benefits the CBG in-house engineering teams as he contributes to solving challenging briefs from our clients.
Ashley has a Masters Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, is a Member of the IET, and continues to add to his technical knowledge through continuous personal development (CPD) and exploring new industry sectors. Ashley is an active member of the company’s IIP (Investors In People) team and also a representative on the EMS (Environmental Management Systems) group.
