CBG provided a fully detailed M&E design for a high specification listed private property nestled in the surrounding countryside of the Pewsey Downs National Nature Reserve. The existing 3 storey farmhouse is being fully renovated and extended, and the existing M&E installations are being replaced with a new system throughout.
A comprehensive analysis of proposed energy systems was investigated including a Ground Source Heat Pump system using boreholes, for an application for funding under the Renewable Heat Incentive providing payback for the installation and substantial annual energy savings for the client after this period. The scheme has also been built with future expansion in mind providing the infrastructure and capacity for improvement and additions at the site. The scheme has been designed and coordinated via numerous design team meetings providing a thoroughly integrated design across all disciplines. M&E, architecture, structure, landscape architecture and interior design was closely monitored by the quantity surveyor for cost compliance at each stage.
CBG are retained for the construction stage inspections and commissioning/handover stages.
