A complete overhaul of the Grade I Listed Paddington Lawn retail suite comprising the thorough refurbishment and extension of facilities for 22 individual retail units and common parts concourse areas.
Retail outlets include notable major UK retail chains such as Boots, Fat Face, Accessorize and Thomas Pink.
CBG were engaged to upgrade the existing infrastructure, including a new 1000 kVA substation, busbar route, ventilation and domestic water services to accommodate the increased capacity within the constraints of the existing building. CBG duties also covered the M&E for GRIP 5-8 stages, detailed design, site support and AS Built information.
The successful completion of this project included presentation of the new scheme to Network Rail executives and the production of tenant fit out data sheets for each of the 22 retail tenants. This project has enabled the Paddington Lawn project to become a showcase for Station retailing with the best possible customer experience.
