The Dickson Poon China Centre provides new communal, academic and residential facilities (70 bed) with new accommodation to house a centre for the development of Chinese studies across the Collegiate University.
In addition to M&E consultancy, CBG undertook a client questionnaire, Energy efficiency strategy, Energy source analysis, Building acoustic advice, Ambient noise levels consultancy, Part L Assistance, BWK details on installation drawings, and Key area co-ordination drawings.
The facility utilises a mixed mode ventilation strategy with CO2 demand controlled operation. A very efficient CHP has been utilised to satisfy the year-round hot water demand and combined with roof mounted PV will further enhance the building efficiency.
