Beaudesert Park School, Stroud

The Beaudesert Park School was first established as an Educational Trust in 1968. It is located within the picturesque grounds of the Cotswolds.
The project a involved a new build Performing Arts facility consisting of a large auditorium, various teaching spaces, offices and a number of sound proof ‘pods’ for music lessons and rehearsals.
Our team developed simple and low-energy environmental strategies for the building, including demand-controlled natural ventilation, and a scavenger ventilation system for the basement music rooms. Notably, the building has no BMS, with the objective to keep the operation of the building as simple as possible for the school.
