CBG Consultants Commit to Inclusivity Through New Leadership Programme

CBG Consultants has been selected to participate in the Royal Academy of Engineering’s prestigious ‘Inclusive Leadership Programme’ (ILP). This 18-month initiative is designed to help engineering organisations foster diversity and inclusion through targeted training, mentorship, and leadership development.

As part of the ILP, four CBG team members, referred to as “awardees,” will take part in the programme. Each awardee represents a different stage in their leadership career, providing a diverse range of perspectives.

The Royal Academy’s ILP is structured in two phases: “Learn” and “Act.” During the “Learn” phase, participants will receive high-quality leadership training to deepen their understanding of inclusion and how to implement it in the workplace. The “Act” phase will provide hands-on experience as the team designs and executes an inclusion-focused project over 12 months, supported by external EDI experts.

CBG’s participation in the ILP comes during a period of significant growth for the company. Recently, CBG expanded its services by acquiring Light Perceptions, which has allowed them to establish a specialist lighting design service.

This programme is expected to be a key driver in helping CBG champion inclusivity within its workforce and the broader engineering community.
