Kellogg College Student Hub nominated for a RIBA South 2018 Award

We are pleased to announce that the new Hub building for Kellogg College, has been shortlisted for a RIBA South Award.

Working in collaboration with the architect Fielden Clegg Bradley Studio, we were the Passivhaus and M&E consultants for the new building, which is the first non-domestic Passivhaus in Oxford and a first for the University of Oxford.

As Passivhaus consultants, we were responsible for guiding the design team to ensure that the design meets the stringent Passivhaus requirements. This includes providing advice on construction detailing, product specification, insulation and services design.

The shortlisted buildings will be assessed by a regional jury with the winners announced at an Awards evening and reception at Mercedes-Benz World on Thursday 17 May.

If you are interested to find our more about this project and other Passivhaus innovations, speak to Ross Thompson, Senior Sustainability & Energy Engineer at CBG on 01865 864500
