The University of Brighton is a blooming, multi-campus coastal university. Due to it’s growing academic popularity, there was a demand to expand its student residential blocks.

Varley Halls is the university’s largest hall residence, with rooms for nearly 500 students. CBG were engaged by Leadbitter Construction to undertake this exciting project, helping to improve student accommodation provision.

The project involved full dynamic modelling and detailed energy assessment for design and build contractor proposals. CBG provided services within three new residential blocks, Hub building and CHP/Boiler energy centre, compliant with the employers requirements.
