Mechanical and Electrical Services Consultancy of this high profile Grade I Listed library refurbishment, in the heart of Oxford.

The brief called for minimisation of the impact of any plant on the historical building. The new services include sophisticated environment controls, and modern services, to improve conditions for the books and furniture. In addition, these provide much improved conditions for readers.

The Queen’s College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. It was founded in 1341 and the Library is now one of the largest of any Oxford college, with a lending collection of 50,000 volumes, and nearly 150,000 volumes in the historical collection.
