CBG have undertaken two schemes at Stratford-Upon-Avon station, a site that facilitates the travel for over 4 million tourists that come to see the home of William Shakespeare each year.
Initially CBG’s employment helped facilitate the works required for the ‘access for all’ scheme, providing a footbridge, staircases and lifts to allow all passengers, regardless of disability, access to every platform. The works included providing electrical lighting and power including LED handrail lighting, mechanical ventilation and heating for the new build works as part of the F001, F002 and F003 design. Technical support was also provided at site stage.
Subsequent to these works, CBG were employed in 2014 by Network Rail to assess and renew the current M&E services throughout the station. These works included: lighting design, electrical cable loading and calculations, and assessment of the existing heating. F003 design was completed DRNs incorporated and AFC package issued.
