INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Full time, at our Oxford office
Competitive salary plus benefits, according to skills and experience
We are looking for an intermediate electrical engineer to work on wide range of electrical systems in buildings within the rail sector, and also healthcare, education, private and public housing, commercial, government and retail.
Initially you will be under the guidance of a director. As you develop, you will be responsible for visiting a wide variety of sites to undertake detailed surveys, attend design and site progress meetings and carry out site inspections. Working closely with other team members, you will see projects through from inception to completion and handover.
You will become confident in the design of electrical services in buildings, stations, and so on. You will become efficient at using design software and you will assist in preparing feasibility studies, project design, specifications and contract administration. You should have:
• A degree in a relevant subject
• Relevant experience of building services design
• Excellent communication skills
• An accurate, methodical approach to your work
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills
Experience of working within the rail sector would be an advantage. The successful candidate will also need to have their own transport and driving license. Working knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
The job involves using of Heavcomp, Relux, AutoCAD and other design and modelling software. Previous experience of these or similar packages is useful but full training will be provided.

GRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
Full time, at our Oxford and London offices

We are currently looking for graduate electrical engineers to join both our Oxford and London offices. Duties will include the feasibility review, design and specification of a wide range of electrical systems, within all types of buildings across several sectors including healthcare, rail, education, private and public housing, commercial and retail.
Initially the role will be office based to learn the key design principles and standards relevant to building services, however as you develop, you will increasingly be responsible for visiting a wide variety of sites to undertake feasibility surveys, attend site progress meetings and review installations. Working closely with other team members, you will see projects through from inception to completion and handover.
We are looking for engineers who are enthusiastic about building services design.
You will need a good eye for detail and be able to demonstrate good analytical and organisational skills.
An ability to communicate well and get on with a wide variety of people is essential.
The role will involve becoming confident in the design of electrical services in buildings, becoming efficient at AutoCAD and other design software and assisting with the preparation of feasibility studies, project design and contract administration.
